The Therapy Center is one of Oklahoma City’s premiere centers for outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. It provides physical and hand therapy, focusing on exceptional treatment of hands, the upper and lower extremities and the spine.

Our approach to rehabilitation is designed to help individuals return to an active life as quickly as possible. Our highly trained physical and hand therapists provide patient focused programs with the highest quality of care and service for optimal results. We provide hands on therapy treatment with individualized treatment programs to reduce pain and normalize function. Our therapists take time to educate each individual about their disease process, review appropriate anatomy, train in joint protection and teach injury prevention. Patients are instructed in custom tailored exercise programs in order to decrease pain and edema, and improve range of motion and function.

Hand Therapy
Hand therapy is the art and science of rehabilitation of the upper limb. Our therapists use a comprehensive knowledge of the anatomy and biomechanics of the hand, wrist, and elbow as a base to provide therapeutic interventions to restore function and reverse the progression of pathology. Individuals will benefit from our specialized skills in assessment, planning and treatment which will expedite their return to work and activities of daily living. Our hand therapists help each patient regain the maximum use of his or her hand after injury, surgery or the onset of disease.

Physical Therapy
Physical therapy is the science that helps individuals develop, maintain and restore their maximum movement and functional ability. After assessment our therapists develop a treatment program unique for each individual to help decrease deficits and restore function. Education about the cause of the problem, and instruction in exercises to improve function will be given to each individual. Our therapists are dedicated to providing the optimum in physical therapy care by focusing on reducing pain, increasing flexibility, range of motion and function, building strength and correcting posture. Our physical therapists are APTA certified clinical instructors who specialize in post-operative rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, spinal dysfunctions, rehabilitation of total joint replacements and treatment of a wide variety of musculoskeletal disorders.
