The Therapy Center![]() The Therapy Center provides outpatient physical and occupational therapy services for patients with spinal disorders, hand, sports and work-related injuries. Physical Therapy Physical Therapy provides a thorough rehabilitation program with an emphasis on fitness, education, and prevention. Hands-on attention is given to reduce pain and normalize function, while individualized programs are carefully designed for each patient, both in the clinic and at home. These highly trained professionals are dedicated to providing the optimum in physical therapy care. Occupational Therapy Occupational therapists assess and treat patients (adults and children) being admitted for elective surgery or treatment. They assess and discuss everyday activities that are important to the patient such as washing, dressing, getting around indoors and outdoors, bathing, driving, preparing and eating meals, or participating in work, school or leisure activities. These tasks may be difficult due to illness or following surgery and the occupational therapist will assist the patient to become as independent as possible and to enable them to be safe at home after leaving hospital.
